Munn Insurance forms Partnership with Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Fire Services
Munn Insurance is proud to announce a partnership with the Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Fire Services to be the preferred insurance broker for their association and their members across the province.
Firefighters, indeed all first responders, play a vital role in our communities. They help keep us safe and look out for us when we need it most. At Munn, the mission is very similar, albeit not nearly as dangerous. We look to protect our customers and their possessions and help get them back on their feet as quickly as possible in the event that disaster does strike. Partnering together just made sense.
As such, Munn is honored to provide Association members extra discounts on their insurance as well as other special free value added benefits, including:
- Legal Assistance,
- Health Assistance,
- Home Repair Assistance,
- Mortgage & Real Estate Assistance, and
- 0% Insurance Financing.
Munn Insurance Vice President, Customer Care and Growth, CJ Nolan commented, “The program is about adding value for, and saying thank you to, the courageous men and women who put themselves in harms way every day to help people in the face of often devastating circumstances, from house fires to motor vehicle accidents to daring rescues to medical emergencies.” Nolan continued, “For us at Munn, providing this program is really all about taking care of those who have devoted their lives to caring for us and our families.”
Munn Insurance has committed to becoming a Sustaining Member of the Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Fire Services and will look to partner with the Association to help financially support the many initiatives they administer, such as: the Learn Not to Burn Program, Autism Awareness Training, Raising Awareness of Distracted Driving, and helping members with their mental health and those experiencing Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
During an announcement at the St. John’s Regional Fire Department’s West End Station, Fire Chief Duane Antle said, “After months of careful review, we are convinced that Munn Insurance is the company with the depth and the character we are looking for as a partner for our membership benefits program. Today is a great day and I am extremely pleased to welcome Munn Insurance to our Association.”
The partnership between Munn Insurance and the Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Fire Services is part of a broader Group Program and commitment from Munn to provide additional value and support to First Responders across the province. “We are excited to be able to offer these unique products to first responders in Newfoundland and Labrador.” said Nolan.
Munn Insurance is one of the largest independent insurance brokers in Newfoundland and Labrador. With office locations across the province, Munn Insurance employs roughly 100 employees and provides insurance products to protect your home, auto, leisure products, and business. Munn had its start over a century ago in the early 1900s and were known for providing their clients with exceptional service and the very best in value… we’re proud to continue that tradition today.
The Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Fire Services is an association that represents over 6,000 firefighters across Newfoundland and Labrador. Their main focus is to advocate, enhance, and promote the fire service internally, to the public and to government. The association is also focused on collectively bringing fire service’s issues to resolution and to enhance firefighter training, safety, and the delivery of fire protection services to their respective jurisdictions.
